COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

Workshop & Workplace Support

At Project Esperanza we believe that communities are empowered by great community leadership and that’s why we are proud to have designed and developed a range of proactive focused learning tools that are interactive, practical, and hugely informed by lived experience, case studies, focus groups as well as research to support communities of African heritage so that their experiences of living in Scotland in various capacities inform local service agencies, organisations and community leaders, with the aim to develop best practice and effective strategies that help people of African heritage that have moved to live in Edinburgh, to have positive experiences within services in community and to settle easily into the community and ultimately have an improved quality of life.

Service providers, organisations and community leaders are engaged through a workshop held whose main aim is to ensure cultural understanding and culturally sensitive and appropriate support services are made available. We do this by providing our knowledge and expertise in Equality, Diversity and Inclusion through our Working with people who are subject to immigration control & NRPF workshop.

If your organisation wants to engage with us for this workshop please get in touch to register.
